Getting Learning Help from the Internet

The Internet has many helpful web sites devoted to helping students learn.  Listed on this page are some that I recommend, organized by subject.

Virtual Chemistry Lab Applet , Molecule Construction Kit,

These are cool virtual chemistry applications.  One allows you to mix various amounts of various chemicals and see what the resulting combination is like.  Requires J2SE Java Runtime Environment (JRE) for Windows installed, but it provides the link to download this program.  The molecule construction kit is great for creating models of molecules that can be rotated and represented in various ways.
